PRODUCT DETAILS
RECYCLED PP PELLET
1. WHAT ARE RECYCLED PP PELLETS?
Recycled PP pellets are internationally known as Polypropylene. They are reconverted from products made from primary plastic beads, which are packaging, ropes, stationery equipment, etc. Pellets are collected, sorted, and put into a separate recycling process to create PP plastic particles.
The production process of recycled PP pellets reduces the amount of plastic waste into the environment, contributes to environmental protection, and energy and production materials saving.
2. STRUCTURE
The structure of recycled PP pellets have many different colors. The overall surface is beautiful, eye-catching, and convenient for printing finished products. Depending on each purpose, recycled plastic pellets are manufactured with different specifications, proportions, and colors, meeting all the customers needs.
3. PROPERTIES
Recycled PP is considered to be the most preeminent recycled plastic resin. As an example, the annual consumption of this pellet is over 50 million tons. Here are some outstanding properties of this resin:
1. Physical properties
The products manufactured from recycled PP have high durability and toughness, and firm structure, not as flexible as PE resin. Recycled PP pellets have relatively good mechanical strength, tear strength, and tensile strength. They are easily fabricated into yarns in the textile industry.
This resin is also easily coordinated to create color. As a result, finished products are diverse in terms of size, shape, and color. Therefore, PP pellets are easily processed according to each customer's needs.
Another physical property that needs to be mentioned is that recycled PP can withstand temperatures higher than 100 degrees Celsius, thus saving costs for consumers.
2. Chemical properties
PP pellets are colorless, odorless, and tasteless. They are also waterproof, oil-resistant, and gas-resistant. However, PP is less cold-resistant than PE, easily oxidized, and often does not carry stabilizers.
4. USES
Nowadays, products from recycled PP have many applications from life to industry because this plastic pellet inherits several great uses as follows:
1. Mechanical strength and high-temperature resistance
The first special feature of this pellet is its high mechanical strength, tear strength, and tensile strength. Moreover, PP plastic is also capable of withstanding a high-temperature spectrum. Therefore, plastic pellets are made into a fiber shape. Good application in industries such as textiles, threads, packaging, etc.
2. Waterproof and anti-oxidation
Since recycled PP pellets are resistant to water vapor, grease, and gases, they are widely used in the production of quality plastic bags and packaging. This will help preserve the goods inside, resisting impacts from the outside.
3. Safe, highly applicable
PP is still a safe and popular material despite being a recycled plastic. Its safety is appreciated more than PE and PVC pellets by professional experts. Therefore, products manufactured from PP pellets are increasingly common in life.
